How much fabric softener do you add to your wash? There are proponents for and against the use of fabric softener but what we see when servicing machines is that sometimes it causes a build up in your machine causing streaky marks on your clothes.
So go slow when adding fabric softener to your top loader or front loading washing machine; your washing machine will keep your clothes cleaner in the long run.

How much washing powder are you using in your washing machine?
Quality wash powders and detergents are expensive but hey are also very effective. Using slightly less than the manufacturer’s dosage is still often sufficient to achieve a satisfactory wash and will stretch your dollar further too.
